Located in the heart of the former French concession, Boheng 55 restaurant is located at the junction of Hengshan Road and Urumqi South Road in Shanghai. It is one of the most famous blocks in Shanghai. A beautiful modern building in 1930s tells a story. Jipinxuan is one of the restaurants in Boheng 55. Created by the group, it integrates the most profound and irreplaceable cultures since the opening of Shanghai port, namely, the Shanghai style culture with profound historical accumulation and Eastern and Western cultures, and the Gaoan road Kangping Road culture formed after the founding of new China, which combines idealism and romanticism. Located on the third floor of Boheng 55, Jipin Xuan presents the classic Cantonese flavor to the gourmands. The spacious space can entertain 100 guests at the same time. The decoration with great design sense shows elegant atmosphere in simplicity. The main dining room is permeated with warm and flexible wooden floor and veneer, with exquisite details showing unique taste. Drawing on the painting styles of Mondrian, Miro, Dali, Kandinsky, Picasso, Duchamp, Matisse and Marguerite, jipinxuan extends its cultural inspiration with eight independent boxes. Private space atmosphere, for art loving guests to enjoy the experience of Chinese and Western feelings, with meaningful art classics to open the full range of sensory enjoyment of master food. Dali theme box skillfully uses eggshell shape to present beautiful and mellow simple color with surrealism. The unified artistic elements run through the wall and lighting, and show the artistic charm of the art. Mondrian theme box presents a harmonious and graceful visual experience with simple lines and scattered three primary colors, showing the artistic concept originated from balance and the geometric creation without losing vitality. Each of the eight independent boxes of jipinxuan has its own style. The decor draws on the painting styles of Mondrian, Miro, Dali, Kandinsky, Picasso, Duchamp, Matisse and Marguerite, which adds artistic flavor to the private space of the guests. Zhang Yifeng, executive chef of jipinxuan Chinese food, has more than 20 years of experience in Cantonese cuisine. He has learned from famous chef Zeng Chaojing. He is good at integrating the innovation of Western food ingredients into Cantonese cuisine, and has excellent attainments in the cooking of Jingui seafood. He always insists on the highest requirements for high-quality and fresh ingredients. He also selects local ingredients according to different seasons and creates seasonal menus to present exquisite Cantonese dishes for guests. Before going to jipinxuan as a chef, his whole career started in Hong Kong. Kobe beef, dried abalone and Japanese soy sauce are all his essential ingredients. In order to preserve the essence of Cantonese cuisine, most of the ingredients that chef Zhang handles are airlifted from Guangdong to Shanghai.
