Artemisia sinensis is a folk snack of Zhongning County, which has been circulating for hundreds of years. Artemisia noodles are unique in craftsmanship, with exquisite materials and complicated procedures, and contain cultural connotations such as “sentences and emotions” and “blessings and well-being”.

From December 26th to 28th, 2018, CCTV's comprehensive channel column team went to the home of Artemisia Noodles in Huangyang Village, Yuding Township, Zhongning County to film artemisia. According to historical records, when Zhu Yuanzhang (1328-1438) of the Ming Dynasty Zhu Yuanzhang (1328-1398) was an official in Ningxia, part of his neighbors moved to Ningxia and settled in Zhongning Enhe Town. In the area, the neighbors who migrated were mainly Zhu and Wan, and several of them were the retired chefs in the court. They passed the art of making artemisia seeds to the locals. Since then, the artemisia seeds have been circulating in Zhongning.
